Description

Ingredients

4 cups (400 g) shredded green cabbage

2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons (30 ml) extra virgin olive oil


Instructions

Finely shred the green cabbage and place it in a large mixing bowl.

Add the fresh lemon juice and olive oil.

Toss everything together until well combined.

Gently massage the cabbage for 1–2 minutes to soften it.

Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor

Adjust lemon juice to taste for more or less tanginess

Best served fresh but can be stored for up to 2 days in the refrigerator
