Description

A fresh and satisfying pasta salad inspired by classic caprese flavors, perfect for gatherings, meal prep, or light meals.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340 g) short pasta

  • 2 cups (300 g) cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 8 oz (225 g) fresh mozzarella pearls or cubes

  • ½ cup (20 g) fresh basil, sliced

  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) balsamic glaze


Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and cool.

  • Combine pasta, tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in a large bowl.

  • Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  • Toss gently and add balsamic glaze.

  • Chill for 20–30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For best flavor, use ripe tomatoes and high-quality olive oil.

  • Add extra balsamic glaze just before serving for a glossy finish.
