Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced (300 g)

1 large ripe avocado, sliced (200 g)

1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (170 g)

½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (60 g)

4 slices sourdough bread (240 g)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened (30 g)

½ teaspoon garlic powder (2 g)

½ teaspoon onion powder (2 g)

¼ teaspoon black pepper (1 g)

¼ teaspoon salt (1 g)

Optional: ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika (1 g)
Instructions

Season the cooked chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika if using.

Butter one side of each bread slice evenly.

Place two slices butter-side down and layer with mozzarella, chicken, avocado, and remaining cheeses.

Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up.

Grill in a skillet over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and melted.

Rest briefly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use ripe avocado and cook the sandwich over medium heat to ensure even melting without burning the bread.
