Description

A warm, cheesy, and flavorful appetizer perfect for gatherings, snacks, or casual meals. These bite-sized treats combine taco spices, creamy ranch flavor, and melty cheese in a golden baked form.


Ingredients

  • Ground chicken or beef: 450 g / 1 lb

  • Taco seasoning: 28 g / 2 tablespoons

  • Ranch seasoning mix: 20 g / 2 tablespoons

  • Cream cheese, softened: 170 g / 6 oz

  • Shredded cheddar cheese: 120 g / 1 cup

  • Shredded mozzarella cheese: 120 g / 1 cup

  • All-purpose flour: 240 g / 2 cups

  • Baking powder: 5 g / 1 teaspoon

  • Salt: 3 g / ½ teaspoon

  • Milk: 120 ml / ½ cup

  • Butter, melted: 60 g / ¼ cup


Instructions

  • Cook the ground chicken or beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Stir in taco seasoning and ranch seasoning with 60 ml (¼ cup) water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes and set aside to cool.

  • In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Add the seasoned meat and combine well.

  • In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Add milk and melted butter, stirring until a soft dough forms.

  • Fold the cheese and meat mixture into the dough gently.

  • Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 tablespoon each, and place on a lined baking sheet.

  • Bake at 190°C / 375°F for 18–22 minutes until golden.

  • Let cool slightly before serving.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
