Description

A rich, creamy, and hearty dip packed with seasoned beef and melted cheese, perfect for sharing at gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • Ground beef – 450 g (1 lb)

  • Cream cheese – 225 g (8 oz), softened

  • Shredded cheddar cheese – 240 g (2 cups)

  • Shredded Monterey Jack cheese – 120 g (1 cup)

  • Diced tomatoes with green chilies – 300 g (10 oz), drained

  • Green bell pepper – 1 medium, diced

  • Onion – 1 small, diced

  • Garlic – 2 cloves, minced

  • Sour cream – 120 g (½ cup)

  • Chili powder – 5 g (1 teaspoon)

  • Ground cumin – 3 g (½ teaspoon)

  • Paprika – 3 g (½ teaspoon)

  • Salt – 4 g (¾ teaspoon)

  • Black pepper – 2 g (¼ teaspoon)

  • Olive oil – 15 ml (1 tablespoon)


Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook onion and bell pepper until softened.

  • Add garlic and ground beef, cooking until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  • Reduce heat and add cream cheese and sour cream, stirring until smooth.

  • Fold in tomatoes, then add shredded cheeses gradually until melted.

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips or vegetables.

Notes

For best results, serve immediately while warm and creamy. If reheating, do so gently and stir often to maintain a smooth texture.
