A rich and comforting pasta dish made with lean ground turkey, fresh spinach, and a creamy, flavorful sauce perfect for any night of the week.
Ingredients
300 g (10.5 oz) pasta
450 g (1 lb) ground turkey
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
200 g (7 oz) fresh spinach
240 ml (1 cup) cooking cream
120 ml (1/2 cup) milk
60 g (1/2 cup) grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
120 ml (1/2 cup) pasta water
Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté onion until soft, then add garlic.
Add ground turkey, cook until browned, and season.
Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
Add cream and milk, simmer until slightly thickened.
Mix in Parmesan cheese.
Add pasta and a bit of pasta water, toss to coat.
Adjust seasoning and serve warm.
Notes
Use freshly grated cheese for best results. Add extra vegetables for more nutrition. Adjust cream consistency with pasta water as needed.
