Ingredients

500 g ground turkey

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, finely diced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 cups milk (500 ml)

1/2 cup heavy cream (120 ml)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg


Instructions

In a bowl, mix turkey, spinach, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, onion, and spices.

Shape into small meatballs.

Heat olive oil and cook meatballs until browned and cooked through. Set aside.

Melt butter in the same pan and sauté garlic.

Add flour and whisk for 1–2 minutes.

Gradually whisk in milk, then add cream.

Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Add spinach and cook until wilted.

Return meatballs to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.

Notes

Use fresh spinach for best flavor and texture

Adjust seasoning to taste

Add a splash of milk when reheating if sauce thickens too much

Serve with pasta, rice, or bread for a complete meal
