A comforting and flavorful dish featuring golden air fryer chicken tenders finished with a warm, sweet honey butter sauce.
Ingredients

1½ pounds (680 g) chicken tenders

1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

2 tablespoons milk

1½ cups (90 g) seasoned breadcrumbs or panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon onion powder

Cooking spray or 2 tablespoons olive oil

½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter

⅓ cup (115 g) honey

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions

Pat chicken tenders dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.

Place flour in one bowl, whisk eggs and milk in another, and combine breadcrumbs with seasonings in a third bowl.

Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.

Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease the basket.

Arrange chicken in a single layer, spray lightly with oil, and cook for 8 minutes.

Flip and cook for an additional 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in honey, salt, and garlic powder until combined.

Drizzle honey butter over cooked chicken and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Serve honey butter on the side if you prefer to keep the coating extra crunchy.
