Description

A quick, flavorful chicken dinner made in the air fryer with a sweet and savory maple glaze that’s perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
    • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1012 oz / 280340 g)

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)

    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (3 g)

    • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (3 g)

    • ½ teaspoon salt (3 g)

    • ½ teaspoon black pepper (1 g)

    • ⅓ cup pure maple syrup (80 ml)

    • 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard (15 g)

    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari (15 ml)

    • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (5 ml)

    • ½ teaspoon onion powder (1.5 g)

Instructions

  • Pat chicken breasts dry and brush with olive oil.

  • Mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, then season chicken evenly.

  • Whisk maple syrup, mustard, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and onion powder to make the glaze.

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  • Cook chicken for 8 minutes, flip, brush with glaze, and cook 6–8 more minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  • Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use pure maple syrup for best flavor. Let the chicken rest before slicing to keep it juicy. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
