Description

These homemade cheesy pizza pockets are golden, crisp on the outside, and filled with melty cheese and savory pizza flavors. They are easy to make, freezer-friendly, and perfect for quick meals or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 cup pizza sauce

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms

  • ½ cup diced bell peppers

  • ¼ cup sliced black olives

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)

  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning


Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add yogurt and olive oil to form a soft dough.

  • Knead lightly, cover, and rest for 10 minutes.

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet.

  • Combine pizza sauce, cheeses, vegetables, oregano, and garlic powder.

  • Divide dough into 8 portions and roll each into a circle.

  • Add filling to one half, fold over, and seal edges.

  • Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden.

Notes

  • Avoid overfilling to prevent leaks.
