A quick, flavorful, and healthy one-pan meal inspired by classic egg roll flavors without the wrapper.
Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) ground turkey
1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
3 cups green cabbage, shredded (300 g)
1 cup carrots, shredded (100 g)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (15 g)
3 tablespoons soy sauce (45 ml)
1 tablespoon sesame oil (15 ml)
1 teaspoon rice vinegar (5 ml)
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 green onions, sliced
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook ground turkey until browned.
Add garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
Stir in cabbage and carrots, cooking until slightly tender.
Add soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, and seasonings.
Cook for a few more minutes, stirring well.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Do not overcook cabbage to maintain texture
Adjust seasoning to taste
