Description

A comforting and healthy baked dish combining lean ground turkey, roasted cauliflower, and aromatic herbs, topped with melted cheese for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

500 g (1.1 lb) ground turkey

1 medium cauliflower (800 g / 1.75 lb), cut into florets

2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)

1 medium onion, chopped (150 g)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme (5 g)

1 teaspoon dried oregano (5 g)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley (15 g)

1 teaspoon salt (5 g)

½ teaspoon black pepper (2 g)

1 teaspoon paprika (5 g)

½ teaspoon cumin (2 g)

200 ml (¾ cup) tomato sauce

100 g (1 cup) mozzarella cheese

50 g (½ cup) parmesan cheese


Instructions

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Roast cauliflower with olive oil, salt, and pepper for 20 minutes.

Sauté onion in olive oil, add garlic, then cook ground turkey until browned.

Stir in spices, tomato sauce, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Mix in roasted cauliflower.

Transfer to baking dish, top with cheese.

Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for enhanced flavor.

Let the dish rest before serving for best texture.

Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
