Description

There’s something timeless about the pairing of peanut butter and chocolate. This Homemade Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark is a deliciously simple no-bake treat that combines creamy peanut butter with smooth, rich chocolate and a touch of crunch from roasted peanuts. Perfect for gift-giving, holiday trays, or an everyday sweet indulgence, this bark is both elegant and easy to make. It’s the kind of recipe that comes together quickly but looks like you spent hours preparing it.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or dark chocolate chips)

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (smooth, not natural or oily)

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, helps with melting)

  • ½ cup chopped roasted peanuts (unsalted or lightly salted)

  • ¼ cup peanut butter chips (optional)

  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt flakes (optional for topping)

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.

  • In a separate bowl, warm the peanut butter in the microwave for about 20 seconds until runny and easy to drizzle.

  • Pour the melted chocolate onto the lined baking sheet and spread it evenly into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.

  • Drizzle the melted peanut butter over the chocolate using a spoon in a zigzag pattern.

  • Use a toothpick or knife to gently swirl the peanut butter into the chocolate to create a marbled look.

  • Sprinkle the chopped peanuts and peanut butter chips evenly over the top. Lightly press them into the surface so they stick.

  • Place the tray in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the bark is fully set.

  • Once firm, remove from the fridge and let sit for 5 minutes. Break the bark into uneven pieces using your hands or a sharp knife.

  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor and texture.

  • To make it dairy-free, choose vegan chocolate chips.

  • Add crushed pretzels or puffed rice for a crunchy twist.

  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer freshness.

  • For an extra drizzle effect, melt a bit more peanut butter and swirl it over the bark right before serving.
