Ingredients
-
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or dark chocolate chips)
-
1 cup creamy peanut butter (smooth, not natural or oily)
-
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, helps with melting)
-
½ cup chopped roasted peanuts (unsalted or lightly salted)
-
¼ cup peanut butter chips (optional)
-
¼ teaspoon sea salt flakes (optional for topping)
Instructions
-
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
-
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
-
In a separate bowl, warm the peanut butter in the microwave for about 20 seconds until runny and easy to drizzle.
-
Pour the melted chocolate onto the lined baking sheet and spread it evenly into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
-
Drizzle the melted peanut butter over the chocolate using a spoon in a zigzag pattern.
-
Use a toothpick or knife to gently swirl the peanut butter into the chocolate to create a marbled look.
-
Sprinkle the chopped peanuts and peanut butter chips evenly over the top. Lightly press them into the surface so they stick.
-
Place the tray in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the bark is fully set.
-
Once firm, remove from the fridge and let sit for 5 minutes. Break the bark into uneven pieces using your hands or a sharp knife.
-
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
