A bold yet comforting seafood dish featuring tender shrimp and flaky salmon in a rich garlic cream sauce inspired by Cajun flavors.
Ingredients

Shrimp: 450 g / 1 lb, peeled and deveined

Salmon fillets: 2 fillets, about 170 g / 6 oz each

Cajun seasoning: 2 tablespoons

Paprika: 1 teaspoon

Salt: ½ teaspoon

Black pepper: ½ teaspoon

Olive oil: 2 tablespoons

Butter: 2 tablespoons

Garlic: 6 cloves, minced

Heavy cream: 240 ml / 1 cup

Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon

Fresh parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped
Instructions

Pat shrimp and salmon dry and season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear salmon for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Add remaining olive oil to the skillet and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

Lower heat, add remaining butter and garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in heavy cream, remaining Cajun seasoning, and lemon juice. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.

Return shrimp and salmon to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and simmer for 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
