Ingredients

Shrimp – 1 pound (450 g), peeled and deveined

Broccoli florets – 3 cups (300 g)

White rice – 1 cup (200 g), uncooked

Water or vegetable broth – 2 cups (480 ml)

Unsalted butter – 4 tablespoons (56 g)

Olive oil – 1 tablespoon (15 ml)

Garlic – 5 cloves, minced

Salt – 1 teaspoon (5 g)

Black pepper – ½ teaspoon (2 g)

Paprika – ½ teaspoon (2 g)

Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon (15 ml)

Fresh parsley – 2 tablespoons (8 g), chopped
Instructions

Cook the rice with water or broth according to package instructions and set aside.

Blanch the broccoli in boiling salted water for 2–3 minutes, then drain and cool.

Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Melt butter in the same skillet, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant.

Return shrimp and broccoli to the skillet, toss to coat, and finish with lemon juice and parsley.

Serve over warm rice.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcooking the shrimp and serve immediately. Adjust seasoning to taste and garnish with extra parsley if desired.
