Description

A juicy, oven-baked chicken dish topped with a rich parmesan and mozzarella crust, inspired by a popular restaurant favorite and made easily at home.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 170 g / 6 oz each)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • ½ cup (120 g) mayonnaise

  • ½ cup (50 g) grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

  • Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side.

  • Mix mayonnaise, parmesan, mozzarella, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.

  • Spread the cheese mixture evenly over each chicken breast.

  • Bake at 200°C / 400°F for 15–18 minutes until cooked through and bubbly.

  • Rest for 5 minutes, garnish if desired, and serve.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for best melting and flavor.

  • Let the chicken rest briefly before serving to keep it juicy.
