A rich and comforting shrimp pasta in a silky cream sauce, perfect for romantic dinners or special nights at home.
Ingredients

340 g (12 oz) pasta

450 g (1 lb) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

240 ml (1 cup) heavy cream

120 ml (1/2 cup) chicken broth

50 g (1/2 cup) grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika
-
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions

Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 120 ml (1/2 cup) pasta water, then drain.

Season shrimp with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Melt butter in the same skillet, add garlic, and sauté briefly.

Add chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes.

Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened.

Return shrimp and pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat. Add pasta water if needed.

Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
