Ingredients

  • 12 ounces (340 g) uncooked pasta

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 cups (720 ml) vegetable broth

  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream

  • 1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan-style cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.

  • Pour in vegetable broth and cream, then season.

  • Add pasta and bring to a gentle boil.

  • Simmer, stirring often, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.

  • Remove from heat and stir in cheese until smooth.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Stir frequently to prevent sticking. Add extra broth if the sauce thickens too quickly. Best served immediately for maximum creaminess.
