Description

Ingredients

  • 900 g (2 lb) boneless, skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts

  • 240 g (1 cup) plain full-fat yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • 2 teaspoons ground paprika

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon chili powder (optional)


Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix yogurt, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and all spices until smooth.

  • Add chicken and coat thoroughly with the marinade.

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  • Bring chicken to room temperature for 20 minutes before cooking.

  • Cook in a skillet, oven, or grill until golden and fully cooked through.

  • Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
