Description

Tender, flavorful chicken cooked in the air fryer and coated in a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce. Perfect for quick dinners and meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 pounds / 680 g)

  • 1/4 cup honey (60 ml)

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard (60 ml)

  • 1 tablespoon whole-grain mustard (15 ml)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 g)

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (5 g)

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (2 g)

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (3 g)

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1 g)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, whole-grain mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  • Pat chicken breasts dry and coat them evenly with the honey mustard mixture.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).

  • Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

  • Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for another 8–10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts with a slightly longer cooking time.
