Ingredients

Salmon fillets – 4 fillets (about 6 oz / 170 g each)

Honey – 1/4 cup (60 ml)

Garlic, minced – 4 cloves (about 12 g)

Soy sauce – 3 tablespoons (45 ml)

Fresh lemon juice – 1 tablespoon (15 ml)

Olive oil – 1 tablespoon (15 ml)

Unsalted butter – 1 tablespoon (14 g)

Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon (2 g)

Salt – 1/4 teaspoon (1.5 g)

Red pepper flakes (optional) – 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g)

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional) – 2 tablespoons (8 g)
Instructions

Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes.

Flip the salmon, add butter and the honey garlic sauce, and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Spoon the sauce over the salmon until cooked through and glossy. Remove from heat and garnish if desired.
