Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets – 4 fillets (about 6 oz / 170 g each)

  • Honey – 1/4 cup (60 ml)

  • Garlic, minced – 4 cloves (about 12 g)

  • Soy sauce – 3 tablespoons (45 ml)

  • Fresh lemon juice – 1 tablespoon (15 ml)

  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon (15 ml)

  • Unsalted butter – 1 tablespoon (14 g)

  • Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon (2 g)

  • Salt – 1/4 teaspoon (1.5 g)

  • Red pepper flakes (optional) – 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional) – 2 tablespoons (8 g)


Instructions

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes.

  • Flip the salmon, add butter and the honey garlic sauce, and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  • Spoon the sauce over the salmon until cooked through and glossy. Remove from heat and garnish if desired.
