Description

A tender, flavorful turkey meatball recipe coated in a sticky honey garlic sauce that is perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground turkey

  • 1 cup (60 g) breadcrumbs

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small onion, grated

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) honey

  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) low-sodium soy sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 2 tablespoons water


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Mix turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic, onion, and seasonings in a bowl.

  • Form into meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet.

  • Brush with olive oil and bake for 18–20 minutes.

  • Simmer honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar in a saucepan.

  • Add cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.

  • Toss baked meatballs in sauce and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to four days or freeze baked meatballs for up to three months. Adjust the sweetness of the sauce to taste by adding more or less honey.
