Description

Ingredients

4 medium russet potatoes (8–10 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  • Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly.

  • Pierce each potato 4 to 5 times with a fork.

  • Rub the potatoes with olive oil and season evenly with salt and black pepper.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.

  • Cook for 35 to 40 minutes, turning halfway through, until tender in the center.

  • Remove from the air fryer, rest for 2 to 3 minutes, and serve with desired toppings.

Notes

Choose potatoes of similar size for even cooking. For extra crispy skin, add a light sprinkle of salt immediately after cooking. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for best texture.
