Quick & Cheesy Ground Beef Philly Sandwiches Everyone Loves
A fast, cheesy, crowd-pleasing sandwich loaded with seasoned ground beef, peppers, onions, and melted provolone.
Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 tbsp (28 g) butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce substitute
6 slices provolone cheese
4 hoagie rolls
Instructions

Heat 1 tbsp butter in a skillet and sauté onions and peppers until soft.

Add remaining butter and brown the ground beef.

Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire substitute.

Reduce heat and melt cheese over the mixture; fold gently.

Toast hoagie rolls.

Spoon filling into rolls and serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, add mushrooms or use a mix of different melting cheeses. Toasting the rolls helps prevent sogginess and adds great texture.
