12 fresh jalapeño peppers

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes for milder heat.

In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, slightly mounding the filling.

Toss panko breadcrumbs with olive oil in a small bowl and sprinkle over the stuffed jalapeños.

Arrange the poppers on the baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
