Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup uncooked orzo pasta (200 g)

2½ cups vegetable or chicken broth

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (50 g)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions

Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Heat oil and butter in a skillet and sear shrimp briefly. Remove and set aside.

Sauté garlic, then toast orzo for 1–2 minutes.

Add broth and simmer until orzo is tender.

Stir in Parmesan and lemon juice.

Return shrimp to pan and cook until heated through.

Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
For a creamier texture, add extra broth before serving. Adjust seasoning to taste and garnish with additional Parmesan if desired.
