Ingredients

2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 ½ cups packed brown sugar

1 large egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons milk

Granulated sugar, for rolling
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until creamy and smooth.

Add the egg, vanilla extract, and milk; mix until smooth.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low until combined.

Scoop 1.5 tablespoons of dough and roll into balls. Roll each ball in granulated sugar.

Place cookies on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
