Description

A rich, comforting dish featuring tender potatoes, savory smoked sausage, and a creamy ranch-flavored cheese sauce baked to perfection.


Ingredients

    • 2 pounds baby potatoes, halved or quartered

    • 14 ounces smoked beef or turkey sausage, sliced

    • 2 tablespoons olive oil

    • 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix

    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

    • ½ teaspoon black pepper

    • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

    • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

    • ¾ cup heavy cream

    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Toss potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.

  • Add sliced smoked sausage and mix well.

  • Spread mixture evenly in the baking dish.

  • Pour heavy cream over the top and dot with butter.

  • Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.

  • Remove foil, stir gently, and bake for 15 minutes more.

  • Sprinkle cheeses evenly over the top.

  • Bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.

  • Let rest briefly before serving.

Notes

For best results, use freshly shredded cheese and evenly cut potatoes. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days and reheat well in the oven.
