Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or preferred hot sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

  • Toothpicks or small skewers for serving

Instructions

  • Pat the shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and black pepper.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, and sriracha until smooth.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

  • Reduce heat to medium, pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp, and toss gently for 1-2 minutes until coated and slightly thickened.

  • Transfer shrimp to a serving plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds, garnish with parsley or green onions, and insert toothpicks for easy serving.

Notes

  • Adjust spiciness by adding more or less sriracha or red pepper flakes.

  • Lightly coat shrimp in cornstarch before cooking for extra crispiness.

  • Serve over rice, noodles, or salad for a complete meal.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; reheat gently to avoid overcooking.
