Ingredients

  • 400 g (14 oz) pasta

  • 2 liters (8 cups) water

  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • 500 g (1.1 lb) chicken breast, sliced

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 80 g (â…“ cup) unsalted butter

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 120 ml (½ cup) reserved pasta water

  • 50 g (½ cup) grated Parmesan-style cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  • Boil water with salt and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 120 ml (½ cup) pasta water, then drain.

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

  • Melt butter in the same skillet, add garlic, and cook briefly until fragrant.

  • Add reserved pasta water and Italian seasoning; simmer lightly.

  • Toss pasta into the sauce, then return chicken to the pan.

  • Add cheese and parsley, mix well, and serve hot.

  • Use freshly minced garlic for the best flavor.
