Ingredients

400 g (14 oz) pasta

2 liters (8 cups) water

1 tablespoon salt

500 g (1.1 lb) chicken breast, sliced

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil

80 g (â…“ cup) unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

120 ml (½ cup) reserved pasta water

50 g (½ cup) grated Parmesan-style cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions

Boil water with salt and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 120 ml (½ cup) pasta water, then drain.

Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

Melt butter in the same skillet, add garlic, and cook briefly until fragrant.

Add reserved pasta water and Italian seasoning; simmer lightly.

Toss pasta into the sauce, then return chicken to the pan.

Add cheese and parsley, mix well, and serve hot.
