Ingredients

4 slices thick-cut white bread (about 30 g each)

120 g shredded sharp cheddar cheese

60 g shredded mozzarella cheese

30 g unsalted butter, softened

2 g garlic powder (optional)

2 g onion powder (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for 3 minutes.

Butter one side of each slice of bread evenly.

Place two slices butter-side down and top with cheddar and mozzarella.

Sprinkle optional seasonings over the cheese.

Top with remaining bread, butter-side up.

Air fry for 4–5 minutes, flip, and cook another 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.

Rest for 1 minute before serving.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket and use cheeses that melt smoothly. Adjust cooking time slightly depending on bread thickness and air fryer model.
