Ingredients

900 g (2 lb) boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

120 ml (1/2 cup) honey

80 ml (1/3 cup) low-sodium soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

60 ml (1/4 cup) ketchup

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons water
Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and black pepper.

Place chicken in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it.

Cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.

Mix cornstarch and water, stir into the sauce, and cook on high for 15–20 minutes until thickened.
