Description

A quick and comforting sweet snack made in the air fryer with crisp edges and a soft, cinnamon-scented center.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices white or brioche bread, cut into quarters

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • Pinch of salt

  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  • Cut the bread slices into quarters and place them in a bowl.

  • In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, milk, and salt until smooth.

  • Pour the mixture over the bread pieces and gently toss to coat evenly.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

  • Arrange the bread pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  • Air fry for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crisp.

  • Remove and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Use slightly stale bread for the best texture. Adjust sweetness to taste, and enjoy immediately for the crispiest results.
