Ingredients

  • Pasta (12 oz / 340 g)

  • Ground beef (1 lb / 450 g)

  • Olive oil (1 tablespoon / 15 ml)

  • Onion, diced (1 medium / 150 g)

  • Garlic, minced (4 cloves / 12 g)

  • Tomato paste (2 tablespoons / 30 g)

  • Crushed tomatoes (1 cup / 240 g)

  • Beef broth (1 cup / 240 ml)

  • Heavy cream (1 cup / 240 ml)

  • Italian seasoning (1 tablespoon / 9 g)

  • Paprika (1 teaspoon / 2 g)

  • Salt (1 teaspoon / 6 g)

  • Black pepper (½ teaspoon / 1 g)

  • Grated Parmesan-style cheese (½ cup / 50 g)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (2 tablespoons / 8 g)


Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown ground beef over medium heat.

  • Add onion and cook until softened, then stir in garlic.

  • Mix in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, broth, and seasonings. Simmer 5 minutes.

  • Stir in cream and gently simmer until thickened.

  • Add pasta and reserved pasta water as needed.

  • Stir in cheese until melted and smooth.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust sauce thickness with pasta water or broth as needed.

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
