A simple and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, paired with fresh broccoli for a balanced and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (150–180 grams / 5–6 ounces each)
2 cups (300 grams) broccoli florets
3 tablespoons (45 grams) unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
1 teaspoon (5 grams) salt
½ teaspoon (2.5 grams) black pepper
1 teaspoon (5 grams) paprika
1 teaspoon (5 grams) lemon zest
2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
1 tablespoon (5 grams) chopped parsley
Instructions
Pat salmon dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté broccoli for 5–7 minutes, then set aside.
Melt 1 tablespoon butter and cook salmon 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Add remaining butter and garlic to the pan; cook until fragrant.
Stir in lemon juice and zest.
Return salmon and broccoli to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and heat briefly.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
Use fresh salmon for best flavor and texture.
Do not overcook to keep the fish moist.
Adjust seasoning and lemon to taste.
