A comforting and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken coated in a sweet and buttery sauce, served over fluffy rice.
Ingredients
500 grams boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into pieces
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
1 cup long-grain white rice
2 cups water
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon butter
Instructions
Rinse rice and cook with water, salt, and butter until tender.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and flour.
Heat oil and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic.
Add honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and chili flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Return chicken to the pan and coat with sauce.
Serve hot over rice.
Notes
Adjust sweetness and spice levels to taste. Add vegetables for extra nutrition. Best served fresh but can be stored and reheated.
