Ingredients
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix (or homemade blend of dill, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise or sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1 tsp paprika (optional)
Egg noodles, mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted potatoes for serving
Instructions
1. Place chicken in the slow cooker.
2. In a bowl, combine ranch seasoning, cream cheese, mayonnaise/sour cream, milk, garlic, onion, and paprika. Mix until smooth.
3. Pour sauce over chicken. Stir gently to coat.
4. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender and fully cooked.
5. Garnish with paprika or herbs before serving. Serve with noodles or potatoes.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute cream cheese with coconut milk yogurt.
Chicken thighs yield juicier results than breasts.
Adjust ranch seasoning quantity based on taste.
